São Jorge/Santana: The former fishermen`s village Calhau can be found in the valley between São Jorge and Santana. It has a natural laguna with seawater swimming pools and a restaurant (only open in summer);
São Jorge (north coast): Quinta do Arco (tea house) with rose garden „Roseiral”. Here, you can admire 17.000 different roses and 1560 species from all over the world, daily 11 a.m. - 18 p.m., entrance: € 5;
