ALBUFEIRA
| | |  Albufeira is one of the biggest and most famous holiday destinations of the Algarve and is renowned for its many restaurants, bars and clubs. The old town of the former fishing town runs along the steep cliffs. Right in the centre there is the broad and fine beach. At the west end of the city, there is the modern marina. Approximately 8 km East of Albufeira is Olhos de Água, where Praia da Falésia is situated. One of the most beautiful beaches with its reddish cliffs, 5.5 km in length and up to 30 m high cliff formations that are partly overgrown with green pines, thereby giving a terrific contrast in colours and the pure Algarvian feeling!

It`s beach Praia da Falésia is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve, 5,5km long and with up to 30m high red and yellow cliffs that are partly covered with pine tree forests. An impressive contrast and a great Algarve-feeling! You will find supermarkets and a bank and the restaurants invite you to taste freshly grilled fish.

A walk from the old town to the new marina.
An excursion in the mountains between Alte and Salir, where the you can do a healthy 2,5hr trecking tour at the "Rocha da Pena".
A Shopping tour to the nearby "Algarve Shopping" in Guia, where you can find many shops including the cinema and a variety of restaurants.
Excursion to Silves, former capital of the Algarve, with moorish origins; Fábrica do Inglés in Silves incorporates a cork museum and restaurants; in summer concerts and events.
