|  Area Information Albufeira:
Albufeira is one of the biggest and most famous holiday destinations of the Algarve and is renowned for its many restaurants, bars and clubs. The old town of the former fishing town runs along the steep cliffs. Right in the centre is the broad and fine beach. At the west end of the city there is the modern marina.
Approximately 8 km East of Albufeira, is Olhos de Água, where Praia da Falésia is situated, one of the most beautiful beaches with its reddish cliffs: 5.5 km in length and up to 30 m high cliff formations that are partly overgrown with green pines thereby giving a terrific contrast in colours and gives the pure Algarvian feeling!
